To improve the reliability of internal components in fuses, Beijing Institute of Technology and ACF Soft Valley Laboratory are collaborating to study the application of artificial cartilage biomimetic materials in fuse buffering.

Abstract: In order to explore more efficient buffering materials and improve the reliability of internal components of the fuse, it is proposed to use artificial cartilage biomimetic materials as projectile buffering materials, and to use a Machet hammer test device to test the artificial cartilage biomimetic material gasket and traditional buffering gasket.

The test results show that the artificial cartilage biomimetic material has a good buffering effect, with an amplitude of about 40000 g and a duration of about 100 g μ Under the acceleration overload of s, the buffering effect of artificial cartilage biomimetic materials is better than that of traditional buffering materials; As the thickness increases, the overall buffering capacity of the material increases, but the buffering effect reflected by the material per unit thickness weakens. During multiple repeated experiments, the buffering performance of artificial cartilage biomimetic materials remained stable, providing a certain reference for the selection and design of internal buffering materials for fuses.
