Background: Collapse of buildings and bridges due to vehicle vibration and earthquakes is a serious threat to people's lives and properties.

ACF and Foshan University have jointly established the Bridge and Building Collision Laboratory to co-develop safe and seismic-resistant materials for bridges and buildings through seismic experimental research, such as research on the basic theory of seismic resistance of bridge structures and applied technology, the basic theory of vibration of bridge structures and vibration control technology, etc., to mitigate injuries brought about by the accidents, and to protect people and the safety of important buildings and facilities.
